Manchester United have agreed with Sunderland over Hugill deal


Manchester United have been keen to tie up a deal since March and Hugill has a decent goal scoring record at U18 level which prompted a promotion to Sunderland’s U23s earlier this year.

Manchester United today announced that a deal have been reached to sign the 16 years old striker Joe Hugill, with Sunderland for £250,000, according to the daily mail.

Other clubs too had been awear of the youngstars talent but united have beaten them to his signature and he look set to continue is development in Manchester united.

Personal terms have been finalised and Hugill will travel to Manchester to complete his medical once it is safe to do so.

He will fit in well within Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's current strategy of signing young players with potential.

Manchester United are still as reliant on their young talent as ever, and their record of including an academy graduate in their matchday squad ticked past 4,000 earlier this season.
